Recommendations for use

Priming and Initiation

Bharat-Shakti is a Non-Cap Sensitive explosive and it can only be initiated using a Primed Cap-Sensitive explosive.

Charging

Pumped directly into the Blast-Hole through Bulk Mix Delivery System

Average In-Hole Density

The average in-hole density of the Bharat-Shakti can be varied to match mines blasting application. Density can be tailored from 1.10 to 1.20g/cc according to blasting requirement.

Gassing Time

Allow at least 20 minutes between loading and stemming blast holes.

Sleep Time With in Blast holes

Standard sleep time in normal condition of dry & watery holes is 10 Days, in a standard operating procedure.

Hot and Reactive Ground

  • Not suitable for reactive ground.
  • Suitable for using round temperature sup to 65°C.
  • In case application requires to operate outside this temperature range, please contact your Navbharat representative.

Safety

Bharat-Shakti is relatively insensitive to accidental initiation by shock, friction, or mechanical impact under normal conditions of use. Detonation may occur from heavy impact or excessive heating particularly under conditions of confinement.

Disposal

Explosives materials is dangerous and require special training, Methods used for safe disposal may vary from case and will depend upon conditions under which the operations take place. For further information please contact Navbharat representative.
